Roulet is about to go to trial but he said he needs to tell Micky somthing and that it is very important. Micky is really angry with Roulet and he tells him that wants his gun back because he is already thinking that roulet killed Levin because he was trying bury Roulet. Roulet admits to killing Martha Renteria and he knows that Micky already knows that he did it. He said that he gave her what she deserved. Micky gets in trouble for putting the trial on hold and is charged 500 dollars, so Micky tells Roulet he owes him 500 dollars.
The trial for the case begins and Minton, the prosecutor, starts off with a weak introduction, stereotypical. After the first day of trial, Micky is feeling pretty confident that he can get Roulet out with no charge, but after the day was over was when trouble started. The officers on the case of Levin's murder are now suspecting Micky as a possible criminal. They ask to search his house for the gun because they knew that Micky owned the same type of gun. Micky claims they won't find it becasue the gun has gon missing and he was right, they searched and could not find it.
