The Brass Verdict pgs. 100-125

Cisco and Lorna were still at work in Jerry Vincents office when Micky arrived at the office. They had previously discovered that Vincent had recieved 250,000 dollars for the first payment of they hollywood producer with multiple murders. Vincent had already blown through the first half of the money, but the question was how had he gone through the money so quickly? Micky has also informed Lorna and Cisco that he will probably be using Bosch as the detective on the case.
Micky is now in the process of contacting Mr. Elliot, the movie producer, to tell him that Vincent is now dead and he will be taking his place as his defense attorney. He went into see Mrs. Albrecht, Elliot's executive assistant, but she will not let Micky in to see Mr. Elliot, until she informs her that Vincent is dead. Haller's plan of action was now to make sure Mr. Elliot was secure as a client. Micky finally meets Mr. Elliot. He is an overly tan man with a lot of gray hair, not a good match. Haller pretty much exaggerates the truth to get Mr. Elliot as a for sure client. Micky gave him his card because Mr. Elliot says he needs to do a bit more research on Micky before he makes a decision.
